Karim Douieb’s Baby Names project brings the human touch back into data visualization. By turning the letters of your name into a timeline graph, the site shows how your name’s popularity rises and falls over decades using typography itself as the data touchpoints. It’s a playful way to inject some personal feeling into cold, hard data. This is what happens when data science meets typographic curiosity and lets the visuals do the storytelling!
