The World’s Trashiest Font

In honor of the first World Cleanup Day, on September 15th, Studio Futura DDB turned trash into useful design elements. In a partnership with Ecologists Without Borders, the studio and a team of volunteers combed the streets of Slovenia for trash, and they unfortunately found quite a bit.They then photographed and vectorized the items and turned them into a bespoke typeface.The typeface will be available to the public for free, with several variants for designers to use. Hopefully this font uses graphic design to raises awareness about pollution!
