The White House Celebrates Pride Month

In case you didn’t know, June is Pride Month! And for the first time ever, the White House has a historical exhibit on display commemorating artifacts of LGBTQ+ history! The White House teamed up with the Smithsonian to create the exhibit, so you know it will be in depth and educational. The artifacts include items from notable LGBTQ+ figures, such as Harvey Milk, as well as things from notable moments in history, like the Stonewall Rebellion. The halls of the White House were also lit with festive rainbow accents. This is a great step forward in recognizing Pride!
