The New York Times takes an engaging deep dive into the trends and things we value right now…through the lens of restaurant menus. Naturally, graphic design plays a big part in how these things are communicated to the diner. Bright colors, small fonts, and engaging characters are on the rise, as well as being more purposeful on how the hierarchy of items on the page communicates the size of the dish and stage of the evening to eat it in.
