Typeface Trends of 2022

Monotype is here with the 2022 Type Trends Report! After the  crazy last couple of years, designers are starting to throw a lot of the established rules out of the window and the type forecast for 2022 looks wild, organic, and full of color and movement! What’s super cool about this, is that Monotype backs this up with examples not created by them to prove their point, but from observing works that have been published recently showing a clear sign of where things are going. It’s a fascinating read and we can’t wait to experiment with some of these new styles!
