Moonshot has a whole new meaning! 2022 is a big year for the space program. The last mission to the moon was 50 years ago, believe it or not, and no one expected such a long delay before the next adventure. Enter the Artemis mission: supposed to launch in 2017, it’s been delayed until now. With an as-yet unspecified launch date in 2022, The Whiskey Barrel has decided to mark the occasion with bottles of single malt scotch. In addition to their existing Apollo series, TWB has created bottles with beautifully designed labels to commemorate the achievements of men in space…and you know the labels are what attracted us in the first place! The Artemis mission will take crew on a 3 week mission orbiting the moon, and break the 50 year dry spell, which we can’t wait to toast with scotch!
