Photoshop…for Textiles!

Textile design is like graphic design to the nth degree. Not only do you need to make a beautiful design, but it has to be repeatable, seamless, and be able to be produced within the limitations of the weaving machines. That’s before you even get into fabric weights, textures, and component materials. Dutch textile company Byborre has a new software out called Byborre Create that lets you test your designs–with actual yarn colors, textures, and weave patterns–safely on your computer before putting it into production and getting a nasty surprise. One of the winners of the 2021 Dutch Design Awards, this software opens so many doors for textile design.
