Is Logo Design Trending Colorless?

Have you noticed a new trend in app logos on your phone screen? Here’s a hint: many of them are beginning to use less color than you may be used to seeing. Meta’s new Twitter-killer Threads is just a black and white icon, as well as Twitter’s own new iteration, X. TikTok pioneered it, and others seem to be following suit.
