Ice Cream inspired by Porsche is a Cool Celebration of National Ice Cream Day

Automotive paint and ice cream…not a particularly appetizing sounding combo to most of us! But Porsche had a wild ride to celebrate National Ice Cream Day: a collaboration with a small-batch ice creamery in Chicago, Pretty Cool Ice Cream, to create a limited run of ice cream flavors inspired by classic Porsche paint colors. There are five flavors total, taken directly from Porsche’s Paint to Sample catalog that you use when you’re deciding what color your new car should be. Thankfully, the team stuck to the colors that seemed best suited to ice cream flavors. No bad efforts to make “moonlight blue metallic” sound appetizing!
