Heinz Gets into the Spooky Spirit

Last year, Heinz had a supremely clever campaign with a Halloween tie-in: Tomato Blood. Its first appearance was promoted as an alternative for fake blood, complete with a kit and inspiration for people to craft their costumes. This year, the spooky condiment is back, replacing “Ketchup” on the label with “Blood”, and it even has a spokes-vampire…with a twist. He’s a vegetarian vampire, portrayed by popular TikToker E.J. Marcus. Toby the vampire encourages other vampires to switch to “vegetarian blood”, because “Humans are people too.”
