Graphic Designers Created These Moving Walls and We’re Psyched
Dec 12, 2018
Art and infrastructure collide with “Brixels”, the exciting new creation by New York graphic design studio Breakfast. Dezeen describes Brixels as “a building block for moving architectural art.” The tiles can be customized in different shapes, sizes and materials and integrated into buildings in a number of ways — dividers, facades, fences, railings or walls. Brixels can even look like a digital display, and they’re controllable with an app that communicates with the installation. Check out the Brixel installation that Breakfast designed to show off their invention, and marvel at how graphic design can be both functional and beautiful.
