Coca-Cola Exploring Sustainable Production

The Coca-Cola Company has produced a limited run of bottles made from 25% plastic retrieved from the Mediterranean Sea, as a test of its commercial viability. It’s a small step, but one that the company says the technology behind it has huge potential.The experiment aims to prove that “low quality” ocean debris can be transformed into high-quality materials for food and drink packaging using “enhanced recycling” technologies.
