Next year, the US Mint is giving the quarter a bit of a feminine touch. Each year from 2022 to 2025, the quarter will feature 5 extraordinary women on the back. They’ve already got the 5 women to be issued next year, and they include Maya Angelou, first woman chief of the Cherokee Nation Wilma Mankiller, and astronaut Sally Ride. These women will replace the “tails” side of the coin, but even the “heads” side will feature an updated portrait of George Washington.

You can always tell a Wes Anderson movie: his visual brand is so distinctive! It’s on full display in the interior of the Belmond British Pullman train, designed by Mr. Anderson himself. The car looks straight out of one of his films, and it departs on its maiden voyage from Victoria station in London on October 13. With strong Art Deco vibes that also call back to the heritage of the train itself, pops of colors and rich geometric wood inlay look like they would be just as much at home on the way to pick up the Tenenbaums.
