Tattoos are Forever…Duolingo Counts On It!

Duolingo is here with a hilarious, inspired, and honestly…kind of awkward campaign. Produced by the BETC Agency in Paris, the language instruction company offers to correct your tattoos that are in a language that you don’t speak and maybe don’t say exactly what you intended! With the hashtag #TattooDuoOver (clever!) on Instagram or Twitter, you can get the Duolingo team to check your ink for free for the next two weeks! And a few “lucky” people with the most egregious errors are going to be gifted free fixes at a tattoo shop in Paris.

It uses AI to help it gauge the forms and transformations needed to accommodate them. No more Photoshop distortions until it looks right! From the rounded corners, to the indentations, every aspect was designed with purpose and use in mind. The Bus is Back!

VW is bringing back the VW bus…with a modern twist: it’s electric! Due out today, VW is teasing the formal release with a particularly colorful model. And it’s not only coming back as a single, novelty ride, VW is making 5 different models, that range from passenger vehicles up to utilitarian delivery vehicles. With the fuel prices as they are right now, I think this looks like a pretty tempting option…but prices aside, this ticks off a lot of satisfying boxes for us as designers.
