But this isn’t just a comic book — McCann is using it to aid its application process when hiring new talent. In honor of the first World Cleanup Day, on September 15th, Studio Futura DDB turned trash into useful design elements. In a partnership with Ecologists Without Borders, the studio and a team of volunteers combed the streets of Slovenia for trash, and they unfortunately found quite a bit.They then photographed and vectorized the items and turned them into a bespoke typeface.The typeface will be available to the public for free, with several variants for designers to use.
