Coke Uses Subtlety to Great Effect with This Label Redesign

We love this new label design from Coca-Cola. So, you have classic Coke and then the calorie-less Coke Zero, right? Red is the dominant color on the Coke label and black is the dominant color on the Coke Zero label. No longer! To encourage people to try the sugarless version, Coke redesigned the Coke Zero label to be predominantly red, except for a black stripe at the top that says “Zero Sugar.” It’s a very simple redesign that reinforces the company’s message that the lighter version tastes just like the classic version.

Art and infrastructure collide with “Brixels”, the exciting new creation by New York graphic design studio Breakfast. Dezeen describes Brixels as “a building block for moving architectural art.” The tiles can be customized in different shapes, sizes and materials and integrated into buildings in a number of ways — dividers, facades, fences, railings or walls. Brixels can even look like a digital display, and they’re controllable with an app that communicates with the installation.
