Coca-Cola Exploring Sustainable Production

The Coca-Cola Company has produced a limited run of bottles made from 25% plastic retrieved from the Mediterranean Sea, as a test of its commercial viability. It’s a small step, but one that the company says the technology behind it has huge potential.The experiment aims to prove that “low quality” ocean debris can be transformed into high-quality materials for food and drink packaging using “enhanced recycling” technologies. We hope that’s the case and can’t wait to see more!

Baywatch Red Makes a Splash

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the TV show Baywatch, Pantone has partnered with Fremantle Media and released Baywatch Red! Obviously, it is based on the iconic red swimsuits worn by David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson and the rest of the crew. The series aired in over 200 different countries and TV Guide reports that it has received over a billion views. The red color is based on the most recognizable aspect of the show, and we couldn’t agree more.
