And the Wikimedia Foundation has pulled out the big guns by engaging Danish design powerhouse Snøhetta to do the work. The new brand identity is due to launch in the later half of 2020. Going down Wikipedia rabbit holes is a fun activity, and we think some good graphic design will only make it better!

Pantone has an amazing new graphic design campaign! We love everything Pantone no mater what, but this is an especially cool idea. The color company has taken beautiful pictures of the natural world…and flipped them on their heads and the results are unexpected. From blue cactuses to pink water, Pantone injected some of their most vibrant hues into the photos to make you see them in a whole new light. We’re loving the new graphic design perspective!

IKEA has a fresh new take on “instagrammable”. Introducing MÜPOLASH: a mash-up of all of the most Instagrammed IKEA products! It isn’t good for a whole lot else, besides making people talk about it. The cheeky campaign, brainchild of Ogilvy Social.Lab, strives to make the mash-up the “most instagrammable object ever made”. The story behind the thought process is hilarious. As you surely know, the 2020 iteration of the Olympic Games will be held in Tokyo. In a truly progressive move, the Tokyo Olympic Committee has announced that they have a novel new material for the beds the athletes will sleep on: they’re made out of cardboard! they are stronger than wooden beds, and are designed to accommodate even the tallest of international athletes. After the Games, the cardboard will be recycled into various paper products and have a second life.
