THIS is huge news: Adobe is planning to drop the Pantone Color System from Adobe Creative Cloud. Yes, you read that correctly. While Adobe says an “alternative solution to minimize the impact of the change” is on the way, the details around what that solution could be are not available yet. Converting digital art color to Pantone is an essential graphic design process, especially if you send anything that needs color-perfect reproduction in physical applications, like print or embroidery.
