Live Mas: How a Design Team Reinvented Taco Bell

We never thought we’d love a deep dive about Taco Bell, but this piece from Dieline did the trick. Writer Bill McCool talks about how a last-minute decision to dress up as a Taco Bell superfan this past Halloween drew the biggest reaction from people, so he began looking into why the business is, as he put it, “a force that gives people meaning.” McCool points to Taco Bell’s in-house design team, who handled a logo redesign in 2016 and continues to innovate when it comes to the company’s packaging, billboards, environmental designs and menu boards. Plus, some fun facts we learned: Taco Bell has a fashion line with Forever 21, and their own Mexican-style beer called Beach Bell!
