Preserving The Forgotten Logos Of Space Exploration

Graphic designer Davide Mascioli is launching off a new graphic design project: SELA, the Space Exploration Logo Archive. Davide has meticulously redrawn over 370 logos in vector form that span 80 years of space exploration, and are available in an online archive. The collection is not only a labor of design love, but a celebration of design’s role in humanity’s journey to the stars, and includes all the iconic NASA emblems you’re thinking of off the bat, as well as rare mission insignias you’ve likely never seen. This project is preserving a crucial piece of design history, as well as providing inspiration to both designers and space enthusiasts alike!
