IKEA Plush Toys Share Their Family History in “Adoption Ads”

IKEA’s new collection of eco-friendly stuffed toys, made from recycled plastics, are ready to share their stories! The stuffed toys are, appropriately, ocean animals, and they tout their backgrounds in sustainable manufacturing in a cute way. Their origins run the gamut from drinking straws, toothpaste tubes, and plastic bottles, and while staying fun, are a reminder of the reality of plastic waste in our oceans. Ogilvy is the agency behind this campaign, and it’s a step towards IKEA’s ultimate goal to use all recycled materials by 2030.
